FOUNDER & CEO

MEET SAWSAN

Sawsan has 17 years of pharmacy experience in the fields of hospital, long term care, drug information, and patient counseling. She trained and managed teams of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, creating training manuals and standard operating procedures, and has a proven track of leading her teams to excellence.

Sawsan transitioned her illustrious career as a pharmacist to living her dream as a successful restauranteur, going from comforting patients to comfort food using her family recipes, her management and training experience and strong attention to detail.

Her craving for fast casual Mediterranean, a flavor profile still new to Texas, lead to her vision, development, and continued successful management of Shawarma Press. 
By understanding the needs of the community and supporting local charities, Sawsan is on her way to making Shawarma Press the next iconic name in both food and community involvement.

TOM PARKS

DIRECTOR OF FRANCHISE DEVELOPMENT

MEET TOM

Since November of 2019, Tom Parks has served as Director of Franchise Development for Shawarma Press Franchising, LLC.

From August 2015 to present, Tom also serves as Chief Development Officer and co-founder of Premier Franchise Solutions, a full-service franchise consulting, sales, marketing, and advertising agency for emerging franchisors.

Tom has been involved in the awarding process of hundreds of franchises both domestically and internationally for brands including Two Men and a Truck International, Bruster’s Real Ice Cream, and Best Life Brands.

Tom is responsible for all aspects of domestic and international franchise development for Shawarma Press Franchising, LLC.

BILL BUNTING

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS AND FRANCHISE SUPPORT

MEET BILL

Since December of 2019 William (Bill) Bunting has served as the Director of Operations and Franchisee Support. Bill’s duties include supporting franchisees with operations, onboarding, training, franchisor relations, system & processes, and advises the franchisor on vendor relations and executive management.

Bill has personally developed and opened over 200 franchise locations, has been a part of over 150 business transactions, and has personally developed over 50 franchise brands to market.

Bill concurrently holds the position of Vice President of Operations with Avendelle Assisted Living, LLC in Euless, Texas, since August of 2017. Prior to these positions he was the Director of Training & Operations for Soft Pretzel Franchise Systems, Inc. from September of 2008 through 2014. Bill currently offices in New Jersey.

While some Mediterranean dishes can be premade, Shawarma Press dishes are all made from scratch and emphasize freshness as well as the use of traditional Mediterranean staples such as hummus, falafels, and salads.

Our Mediterranean food franchise menu includes a variety of wraps, appetizers, bowls, home-baked pastries, desserts, and most importantly, shawarma, a traditional cuisine consisting of chicken or beef meat cut into thin slices, stacked in a cone-like shape, and roasted on a slowly-turning vertical rotisserie or spit until ready to incorporate into wraps or bowls.
