Our journey started in Irving, Texas, in 2017, with a simple yet profound belief: food is more than sustenance; it’s a medium to connect, care, and celebrate the richness of life.

Year-round Collaboration To Support Our Community

In the shadows of our vibrant cities, homelessness, and hunger persist as silent epidemics, often overlooked but deeply felt.

According to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), there are over 582,462 homeless people in the United States, impacting a diverse range of racial, ethnic, and gender subgroups.

At Shawarma Press, we recognize the profound impact we can make to address this issue by offering our nutritious, hearty meals to homeless victims at the Irving Warming Shelter during the toughest times of the year, when temperatures drop below freezing posing a true hazard to the homeless.

During the holiday season and colder months, we intensify our efforts. We recognize the heightened need during these times and respond by increasing our contributions and volunteer efforts.

A significant part of this commitment is our pledge to donate 1% of the gross income from each of our stores to local nonprofits. It’s a way for each of our locations to contribute to local causes and organizations, making a real, lasting impact in their immediate areas.

This sustained effort ensures that our support for the communities we serve is continuous and impactful, reflecting our belief that giving back is not just a seasonal activity, but a fundamental aspect of our business and values.

One of the special traditions we cherish is the home-cooked meal prepared by none other than our CEO’s family.

It’s an annual event that brings together delicious food, smiles, stories, and maybe a friendly debate over who makes the best turkey!.

Expanding The Franchise Footprint

Shawarma Press is excited to announce the opening of our new flagship location in Georgia, a significant milestone in our journey of growth and expansion..

Located in the vibrant Atlanta suburb of Johns Creek, this franchisee owned and operated unit is key to our expanding vision and strategic plan to bring our unique Mediterranean flavors to a broader audience.

Open every day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., our menu offers a variety of delicious options, including Shawarma wraps made with all-natural chicken and premium beef.

Among the customer favorites are our “world famous” freshly made hummus, the spicy Tandoori Press™ Shawarma, and the Tex-Mex Press™ Shawarma, catering to a variety of taste preferences. In addition, we serve made-from-scratch falafels, fresh soups, salads, protein bowls, and baked pastries, suitable for any occasion.

Situated at 11035 Medlock Bridge Road in Johns Creek, this location is the first in a series of franchise units planned to open across the Peach State in the coming years, as part of our strategic plan to expand our presence and share our passion for Mediterranean cuisine with more communities.
